독거노인의 노인일자리사업 참여 경험에 관한 연구

● 초록
본 연구는 노인일자리사업에 참여한 독거노인들이 자신들의 참여경험에 대해 어떻게 의미부여를 하고 있는지를 탐구하기 위해 대표적 질적 연구방법 중 하나인 사례연구 방법으로 분석하였다.
분석 실시 결과, 도출된 상위범주는 총 12개로, 그것은 ‘진입 동기’, ‘진입초기의 고충’, ‘점진적 적응’, ‘주변체계의 지지와 지원’, ‘직업적 보람’, ‘전인적 건강성 회복’, ‘참여지속의 사회ㆍ경제적 동력’, ‘참여지속의 심리적 동력’, ‘일자리사업 참여의 남루한 현실’, ‘신체적ㆍ경제적 상황의 악화로 인한 갈등’, ‘관계갈등’, ‘제도의 엄격성’으로 나타나고 있다.
위와 같은 연구 결과를 토대로 노인복지실천 현장에 필요한 몇가지 제언방안을 제시하였다.
This study examined how the senior citizens are thinking about the experiences they had during the senior job placement project. This research used case study method which is one of the most representative method of qualitative research.
Analyzing from the examples that were collected, we were able to form 12 categories: ‘Motivation to enter’, ‘Difficulties in the beginning’, ‘Gradual adaptation’, ‘Support from surroundings’, ‘Accomplishment during the work’, ‘General regaining of healthiness’, ‘Social economical pressure for participation’, ‘Psychological pressure for participation’, ‘Low participation rate’, ‘Difficulties from declining physical, economic conditions,’ ‘Conflicting relationship’, and ‘Strict system.’ From the research and discussion above, four proposal that could possible increase the elder people’s participation rate have made.
